You will be able to meet NIOM on three different occasions at the PER-IADR in Marseille. From the exhibition area, to the poster section, to the symposium “Biological and clinical aspects of modern composite techniques” with NIOMs Frode Staxrud as chair.

– Staxrud will be joined by University of Turku’s Pekka K. Vallittu, NIOMs Jan Tore Samuelsen and Niek Opdam from Radboud UMC Nijmegen, says Jon E. Dahl, CEO of NIOM.

Professor Vallittu and associate professor Opdam will talk about “The science of modern composite techniques” and “Clinical aspects of modern composite techniques” respectively.

Samuelsen will take the middle section and talk about “Biological aspects of modern composite materials” Dahls says.

Poster section

– In addition to this, you can meet two of our senior scientists at the poster section, Dahl says.

Aida Mulic will present her poster “Deterioration of Dental Restorative Materials under Erosive and Mechanical Wear”, while Simen E. Kopperud will present his poster “National network group for research and innovation within oral health”.

– Both present different sides of NIOMs work as a Nordic oral health competency center, Dahl says.

Exhibition area

NIOMs last delegation will be in the exhibition area, where NIOM has a stand.

– We will be present to talk to clients and prospective clients for our materials testing business, as well as anyone interested in NIOM in general. If you’re working at a Nordic university and curious about becoming a guest researcher, we would love to hear from you, Dahl says.

The PER-IADR Oral Health Research congress 2022 takes place from September 15-17, at The Palais du Pharo in Marseille, France.
