NIOM is happy to announce that engineer Freya Sofia Andersen has joined NIOM. Andersen has a background in chemistry, material science and ceramics.

-My study program was chemical engineering and biotechnology, with energy technology materials as my study option, Andersen says.

She graduated from NTNU in 2019, and wrote her Masters on: Freeze casting on piezoelectric BCZT for biomedical application.”

-I’m really looking forward to working and getting to know everybody at NIOM, Andersen says.

Among her previous engagements are summer internships for Yara International and SINTEF, as well as a position as a teaching assistant at NTNU.
