Jakob's primary task is to raise awareness of NIOM and the effects and results of the institute's research and other activities. He has strategic and operational responsibility for the institute's communications work and produces content for NIOM's digital channels, provides communication advice to the institute's employees and contributes to develop NIOM's new communications strategy.

Jakob holds a Master of Arts in Nordic Language and Literature from Aarhus University. He joined NIOM in the autumn of 2024. Previously, he held a position as senior communications advisor at NordForsk. His core competencies are strategic and operational communication, web editing, content production in digital channels, journalism and project management.
