Siamak Eqtesadi
Senior Scientist
PhD in Materials Science and Engineering
Siamak Eqtesadi is an experienced R&D scientist with approximately twenty years of experience in materials technology. He obtained his PhD in 2015 from the University of Extremadura, Spain, where his research focused on the additive manufacturing of ceramic and glass scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. During his PhD and postdoctoral work, he developed extensive expertise in rheology, ink formulations, Robocasting, and the heat treatment of 3D scaffolds.
Over the past eight years, he has managed several EU-funded projects, primarily focusing on the development and scaling up of graphene derivative materials for various applications, including biomedical uses. His primary research interests include the synthesis, processing, development, and microstructural and mechanical characterization of ceramics and composite materials.
