Dental Technician
Heidi Holm is responsible for testing materials according to ISO standards for dentistry. She is responsible for the preparation of specimens, and conducting the testing of ceramics, metal alloys, resin-based materials, and other dental materials. She also contributes to research on zirkonia, 3D-printing resins, and metal alloys, using CAD/CAM technology. NIOM has an up-to-date CAD/CAM equipment park for designing, milling, and 3D-printing.
Holm is a trained dental technician and graduated from Oslo Metropolitan University, specializing in fixed prosthetics. Prior to her position at NIOM, she worked several years as a dental technician, and has wide experience in the field.
