"Another year has almost passed, and I want to take this opportunity to thank our employees and partners for an incredible and inspiring 2025.
2025 has been a defining year for NIOM. With 69 active research projects, strengthened Nordic partnerships, and the integration of The Adverse Reaction Unit (Bivirkningsgruppen), NIOM has expanded its impact across the Nordic region.
In 2025 we have, among others, launched NIOM’s new strategy covering 2026 - 2030, deepened Nordic cooperation, opened a dental clinic for research purposes, held several courses and lectures for healthcare and dental professionals throughout the region, and contributed to WHO and ISO expert groups. These developments underline NIOM’s growing importance within health policy and biomaterials research.
Our guest researcher programme continued to deliver Nordic added value, while the National Network Group for Research and Innovation in Oral Health remained a crucial arena for shared national priorities.
Together, these milestones highlight a year of stronger capacity, broader relevance, and greater impact for NIOM.
Finally, I want to thank our fantastic employees and partners for the incredible contributions and collaboration throughout 2025. I look forward to continuing this exciting journey with you in 2026.
In the meantime, I wish you a joyful, relaxing holiday and a happy new year."
