Instrument workshop

Since the institute was founded in 1972, NIOM has developed expertise related to instrument making and technical services.

The main tasks undertaken by NIOM workshop are:

  • Design and construction of instrumentation and equipment for testing materials
  • Production of test specimens
  • Calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments
  • Contract testing of dental equipment according to ISO standards
  • General service and maintenance of laboratory equipment
